Served as a public official for more than 30 years with the São Paulo State Department of Finance (Secretaria da Fazenda do Estado de São Paulo).

Held several senior positions, including Audit Team Coordinator, Tax Inspector, Judge of the State Tax Appeals Tribunal (Tribunal de Impostos e Taxas – TIT), Deputy Director of the Executive Directorate of Tax Administration (DEAT), and Deputy Coordinator of the Tax Administration Coordinating Office (CAT).

As a representative of the São Paulo State Department of Finance (SEFAZ-SP), participated in a technical mission to Canada alongside representatives of other Brazilian state finance departments and the National Council for Fiscal Policy (CONFAZ).

Member of the São Paulo State Council for the Defense of Taxpayers’ Rights (CODECON).
